As excitement for the summer continues to build, we are thrilled to welcome world-renowned composer John Mackey! Mackey has been commissioned to compose an original piece for Crown’s upcoming production.

On Saturday, October 7, bands from across the Carolinas competed at the annual BandBEAT Marching Band Championships hosted by Carolina Crown and the Catawba Ridge HS Band Boosters. Nation Ford HS claimed the 2024 BandBEAT Grand Championship, which is awarded to the highest scoring band, regardless of class.

Carolina Crown has named Joe Roach to the position of Executive Director. Roach, who joined the team in December 2022, brings a wealth of experience from previous organizations such as Music City Youth in the Arts and The Cavaliers.

Carolina Crown is pleased to announce the promotion of Ryan Brannan to Assistant Corps Director. Ryan began his career as a member of the drum corps and has remained with the team as a full time Carolina Crown employee since 2015.

Carolina Crown would like to welcome Jared Andrews (Battery Caption Supervisor) and Phil Idell (Front Ensemble Caption Supervisor) to TeamCROWN! Jared and Phil will join the caption supervisor team alongside Matt Harloff, Tony Lymon, Tyler Edrington, and Kevin Morrison for the upcoming season.

Carolina Crown Inc. today announced it has named Joe Roach as Corps Director, effective December 1, 2022. Mr. Roach, who will be only the third director in Crown's 33-year history. joins Carolina Crown from Music City where he served as Executive Director.
