Our mission at Carolina Crown is to Develop Lifelong Excellence in Young People. Our goal is to teach our members not only how to become outstanding performers and performing arts educators, but more importantly how to give back to the world. It is our hope that our students will take these lessons, apply them going forward, while someday looking back and realizing it helped them make a difference in life.
A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
Each year, 150 students embark on a journey of a lifetime. The friendships, the moments, and the memories will be cherished and the emotional impact will be felt for many years to come. Here at Crown, the Excellence that they learn as a member of Carolina Crown will propel them in life to achieve more, demand more and BE MORE.
York County Honor BandArts Education Programs within the Crown Organization include York County Honor Band, with a mission to bring an exciting experience to the band students from our neighboring eight middle schools
CrownLEARNING Camps & ClinicsThe CrownLEARNING Program has a mission to develop performance skills in all areas of marching band (Winds, Percussion and Color Guard) along with our specialized Drum Major & Leadership Camps & Clinics.
CrownCARES: Impacting a Generation
Our new initiative, CrownCARES, looks to further engage our members and the drum corps community through giving back to those that need help. The goal of this new program is to impact a generation through personal engagement and understanding the needs of the underprivileged. We do this through a partnership with Samaritan's Feet in trying to create a world with zero shoeless children.
Developing Lifelong Excellence in Young People is our mission statement. IT IS the motivating factor behind every single program that Carolina Crown pursues.
